"Rare Allen Cobert original vintage 1950s 3-D stereo slides of nude models, circa 1955. 2 color slides positioned in a 1 5/8 x 4 inches mount. When viewed in a 3-D viewer one will see a 3-D effect. Very good to excellent condition with wonderful color tones. The eBay illustration for this image gives a good representation of the tonality of the color slides. A wonderful item. 15 years ago I purchased a collection of over 800 3D slides of nudes. I had no idea who the photographer was but knew he was a professional because of the quality of the work. There was not bad slide in the group. There were even a few rolls of processed slide film that had not yet been cut and placed in 3D mounts. This collection started me on my 3D nudes slide collecting which has continued to this day. I also have been collecting vintage Bettie Page photographs for over 20 years. I had known of Allen Cobert through his famous photo session with Bettie Page. A member of the Bettie Page collecting world mentioned to me an obscure photography book/manual by Allen Cobert from the early 1960s on shooting nude photography, and that there were some photos of Bettie included in this volume. I immediately found a copy on eBay. When it arrived it shocked me that all the images in the book were by Cobert and that many of the slides that I had bought 15 years ago were included in the book. This small book also completely debunked the idea that silent film actor Harold Lloyd was the photographer of many of the images attributed to him. The book on Lloyd's slides was published a few years ago. I have listed the cover of the Cobert book with some important information in the Preface and Introduction." (from ebay offer)

Judy Bamber

"Lovely, buxom, and shapely blonde bombshell Judith Lee Bamber was born on October 13, 1936 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is of mixed German-English and American Indian descent. Her father was an engineer with the Ford Motor Company. Judy started modeling while in high school so she could lose weight and correct her posture. Following graduation from Dearborn High School in 1954, Bamber moved to Detroit to further pursue a modeling career. While in Detroit, Judy met television announcer Frank Robinson, whom she eventually married. In 1955, she moved to Los Angeles, California and worked as a carhop, a laundry clerk, a babysitter, and a dishwater before her modeling career took off. Bamber briefly owned her own agency and modeled for the J.C. Penney catalog. She then began doing live commercials and was eventually discovered by Nils Thor Granlund, who set her up with drama coach Joe Graham. Judy attended Warner Brothers Acting School. Her personal manager Bryon Griffin got her contracts with both Warner Brothers and American International Pictures. (Both contracts were subsequently dropped when the two studios found out about this.) Bamber acted in a handful of films and television series in the 1950s and 1960s; she was especially memorable as the snippy and obnoxious Alice in Roger Corman's hilarious horror black comedy cult gem A Bucket of Blood (1959). Moreover, Judy was a popular pin-up girl of the period: She graced the covers of and/or was featured in such men's magazines as "Modern Man", "Vue", "Glamor Parade", "Gaze", "Snappy", "Male Point of View", "Caper" and "Gala". In addition, Bamber also was featured as the cover model on various albums. She gave birth to son Louis I. on September 13, 1962. Judy quit acting and modeling in the mid 1960s so she could focus instead on raising her family. Bamber married Douglas W. McClary on November 11, 1967 and gave birth to son Brooks S. on November 18, 1971. After McClary died at age 72 in 2004, Judy remarried that same year. Bamber lives in Los Angeles, California.
